“Yukon Moose Dick (The Bigfoot Song)” was given out as an exclusive CD single to the two hundred people who purchased tickets to “ICP’s Hunt for Bigfoot,” an event at the 2021 Gathering of the Juggalos. Prior to the song being released, Violent J became very interested in Bigfoot and expressed belief in the creature. Two of ICP’s Patreon streams were completely centered around Bigfoot, and Violent J discussed Bigfoot at length during ICP’s appearance on “Kesha and the Creepies.”

This song was originally intended to be a free single for people who attended ICP’s 25th Anniversary Prom Night Massacre Show, but the track wasn’t finished at the time, so they instead handed out “The Grump.” This was a decision that Violent J expressed great disappointment with during ICP’s Patreon livestream titled “Welcome to the Jam Exam Episode 3,” where he referred to “The Grump” as the “worst ICP song in the history of ICP songs” and referenced “The Bigfoot Song” for the first time:

We could not give the song that we wanted to in time. It would not fuckin' work out. I could tell the whole story of the Bigfoot track. It was just haunted. it would not finish. Like, it was just haunting was this song. We could not finish it. It was like it was cursed. We had no choice but to give out “The Grump,” and I just wanted to put an apology on it.
