On the day of the Juggalo March, there will be a free concert. Invitations were sent to different bands to play the concert for free. You can read the invitation HERE.
Every artist that accepts the invitation will take part in a huge rap cypher! First they’ll record the audio, then a camera crew will be sent out to wherever the artist is located to film a video.
Below you'll find who was invited and who accepted.
Due to affair between Young Wicked and Jumpsteady's daughter and MNE signing Young Wicked after he was kicked of Psychopathic Records, there were some harsh words bethween Psychopathic Records and MNE. So Twiztid and their entire roster declined the invite to the march. This caused a major shockwave through the juggalo community considering they are the second most importand band in the Juggalo World.
The free concert scheduled to follow the Juggalo March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 will not happen due to the Prince William County Sheriff's Department expressing “concerns” about Juggalos coming to the area where the event was originally to be held. The venue has denied that there was ever an Insane Clown Posse show booked there.
Psychopathic Records is currently examining its options and has contacted the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia requesting their assistance in this matter. It is Psychopathic Records' full intent that a free concert will still take place following the Juggalo March, which is scheduled for noon in the National Mall.
Today, Psychopathic Records released this statement concerning the unwarranted cancellation of the concert:
According to J-Webb, Psychopathic Records reserved September 15th and 16th at the Jiffy Lube Live for the concert. They reserved two days with the hope of having enough artists to fill up both days.“Here’s the simple fact: A law enforcement agency has told thousands and thousands of people that they are not welcome in their community simply because they identify as Juggalos, which is a music-based subculture and nothing more. And this PRECISELY reflects the purpose of the Juggalo March – to call attention to the kind of casual discrimination, profiling, and bigotry that Juggalos face every day throughout these United States. This is why we are marching and also why we are calling upon fellow music artists, social activists, and public servants to join us at the March – because the basic civil liberties of thousands of taxpaying American citizens are being abused…simply because they listen to a certain type of music. To our Juggalo brothers and sisters, rest assured we are looking into all options to ensure a free concert following the Juggalo March on September 16 goes on as planned. Stay strong and remember…we are family, NOT a gang or public menace and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!”
The dates were reserved in July of 2016, right before the official announcement that happened at the 2016 Gathering of the Juggalos. The contract was going to be signed on or around April 1st, which is why in the letter to the artists had a deadline to agree or disagree to perform. In December of 2016, the head of security for Jiffy Lube Live contacted Psychopathic Records to gathering more information about the concert. After the call everything seemed fine.
Psychopathic Records had no idea about the venue booking Sam Hunt on the 16th until Scottie D contacted J-Webb earlier this week. After speaking with the venue and trying to book the concert to take place on September 15th, they were told by the venue that they would never book anything to do with Psychopathic Records.
They tried to book another venue and at first the venue agreed to hold the dates, but around an hour later the venue informed Psychopathic Records that they would not hold the dates or book the concert.
On January 01, 2017, invitations were sent to the bands below.
