Carlos Ortiz(Born on February 19th, 1988), better known by his stage name Zitro, is a very hard person to describe. Most of his life has been kept a secret unless it was asked about PERSONALLY. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Zitro was just like any other kid. Very friendly to everyone he met, made friends easily and was very well loved by those around him. He always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face.

Growing up, his mother used to always play Freestyle music such as Lil Suzy, Stevie B, Rockell, Will to Power, ect. While his uncle, on the other hand, was always playing Rap/Hip-Hop like Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, ect. As Zitro grew older, his taste of music grew as well. While he still liked the music he grew up on, by the time he entered 6th grade, he started to drift into the "darker side" of music. Anything that had violence and murder, he found to be exciting!

This is also the time when he adopted the name "Zitro". His 6th grade teacher made all the students write their names backwards. When Carlos wrote "Zitro Solrac", he found it to be very catchy and wanted his peers to begin calling him "Zitro". When Zitro started 7th grade, he started writing his own music. He took piano and choir classes to improve his ability to understand and create music. Though, with all of that, his music was still very "explicit" for his age and he could not help but write in that type of way.

In 9th grade his friend, Brandon Mcleod(Rest is Peace), introduced him to the infamous "Insane Clown Posse". That's when he knew.... That's the type of fan base his music needs to be presented in front of. Within the same year, another friend, Ken Howell, gave him and install cd for FL Studio 4. From then on, he started making his own beats, learned to record vocals, and learned to mix on his own.

A few years later, he formed a rap duo known as Hellz Most Wanted(HMW). After 2 full length albums, HMW split up and Zitro went solo once again. Since then, Zitro has opened up for MANY underground heavyweight in music, such as Tech N9ne, Rittz, Snow Tha Product, Twisted Insane, Hopsin, Jarren Benton, and more!

Zitro's skills as an entertainer and WELL slept on. He sets A VERY high bar for Detroit rap. Zitro strives to one day be the face of Detroit.... And that can very well happen soon.

Interesting note:

When Yum Yum Bedlam was released on october 31, 2021, some juggalos noticed in the booklet that Zitro was the newest member of the Psychopathic Records Family.
